Positive Reviews
positive:
Excellent metro access to Moscow.
A metro station is situated within a few minutes of the property, making it extremely convenient to board one of the departing trains and travel into central Moscow. Most guests loved the ease of the process, as Moscow and its historical gems are only a few stops away.
positive:
One of the area's best values.
If you visit Moscow, you can typically expect to pay massive rates for a hotel into the city's centre. Fortunately, this property (thanks to its placement and value-oriented services) is a great compromise between location and price. The amenities and rooms feel generally on par with their respective rates.
positive:
Stunning views of Izmailovo.
Rooms look out over the district and its array of parks, making it an unexpected vantage point for some of the Moscow area's best views. Sightseeing from your room during the evening, thanks to the city's lights, is especially striking.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Unwelcoming check-in areas.
Numerous guests remarked that they felt uncomfortable during check-in, largely due to intimidating security personnel and unexpected fees for early arrival. Additionally, any attempts to resolve pricing issues were generally ignored.
negative:
Decor elements feel outdated.
The hotel's interior design seems more fitting for an earlier time, and it unfortunately comes across as neglected rather than charming. Bedrooms and the hotel lobby are in particular need of renovation.
negative:
Poor air-conditioning throughout guest areas.
Many guests were upset about a lack of air-conditioning in the standard rooms, as well as the poor quality of the air-conditioning units in the upper-level rooms. This is especially troubling due to the heat that Moscow can receive in summertime.
