Budapest Hotel (Moscow, Russia)

Wake up to a glorious breakfast buffet. Many guests had plenty of compliments on the wide variety of choices available and the changing layout from day to day. In addition, guests said that their meal was delicious and energising.

Budapest boasts a safe, city central location, within walking distance to many major sights, including the Red Square and the Kremlin. However, the hotel is not situated on a busy traffic-filled road. Guests loved the availability of great restaurants and bars in the area, and the variety of shopping on Stoleshnikov and Tverskaya Street. Furthermore, public transportation is within easy reach.

Guests appreciated the clean and comfortable accommodations. Many rooms are quite spacious but all differ in size and layout. Wi-Fi is also reported to be quite strong. In addition, foreign guests were delighted to encounter English-speaking staff, who were very accommodating with questions and requests.

While many rooms are spacious, some are quite small, especially the singles. A few guests found these to be a bit cramped and lacking other amenities. If you're concerned about space, you may want to ask about alternative room availability.

Though most guests were pleased with their accommodations, several guests thought that both the rooms and the bathrooms look less retro and more ready-for-a-makeover. The tired furniture, worn carpets and dusty looking curtains take away from the charm of the hotel.

Various guests recommend bringing a pair of ear plugs and maybe asking for a quieter room. On some nights, select rooms are impacted by noise from the bar and club next door.
