Positive Reviews
positive:
Clean, comfortable rooms with a view...
The rooms are widely described as spacious, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. Guests also appreciate the modern conveniences (SmartTVs, free Wi-Fi) and the warm welcome extended to their pets; even the largest dogs feel right at home. Views of the city from the highest floors (11 and upward) are impressive, too.
positive:
Caring, professional staff...
International travellers often comment that the reception staff are very fluent in English, with exceptional customer service skills. The staff in the restaurant are also widely described as attentive and professional, and the food receives positive reviews, too.
positive:
Steps from the Metro...
Though the hotel is located outside the city centre, guests comment that getting to the heart of Old Moscow (the Kremlin, Red Square, St. Basil's) is very easy; the Rizhskaya Metro Station is just a few steps away via an underground passage. There's also a 24-hour supermarket located across the street and a convenience store (also open late) right next door.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Leave cash for the minibar...
Guests have been annoyed (and even offended) by the hotel's policy requiring a deposit for use of the minibar.
negative:
Big crowds at breakfast...
Guests advise their fellow travellers to get up very early to beat the rush for breakfast, noting that it is very popular and though the dining area is large, it does get crowded.
negative:
A "just okay" fit for the fit...
Active travellers describe the fitness centre as small, with fairly limited equipment. The key-card security system for operating the elevator is widely considered a bit tedious, so the most impatient guests may wish to get their exercise on the stairs instead.
