Fifteen minutes from Red Square...
Guests love the hotel's location within a few steps of beautiful Sokolniki Park, a favourite green space with the locals as well as tourists. Getting to the heart of Old Moscow (the Kremlin, Red Square, St. Basil's) is also very easy; the Sokolniki Metro Station is right across the street and the trip takes about 15 minutes. There's a large 24-hour supermarket as well as restaurants, cafes, and fast food chains within a short walk, too.
positive:
Very clean, comfortable rooms...
The rooms are widely described as spacious, sparkling clean, and comfortable, with excellent city and park views from the upper floors. Upgrading to the executive level rooms is generally considered "worth it" for the inclusion of a very rich breakfast buffet in a separate lounge with inspiring city views. The on site gym is open to the public, ideal for guests looking for a "serious" workout.
positive:
A warm welcome to Moscow...
Most guests are happy to report a warm welcome from the helpful and professional staff at the front desk, many of whom are fluent in English. Tourists are grateful for their clear directions and assistance with restaurant reservations or other travel plans. Room service is prompt and delicious, too.

Everybody makes mistakes...
Though on the whole the staff receive very positive reviews, some guests have reported long delays at check-in or frustrating billing errors. A small number have reported an unhelpful attitude, too.
negative:
Empty the fridge...
Some guests are annoyed by the security deposit required to unlock the minibar, but note that it is possible to have staff unload it so that other items can be stored there instead.
negative:
Feeding a crowd...
Some guests are disappointed by the atmosphere in the buffet restaurant, comparing it to a crowded cafeteria.
