Positive Reviews
positive:
Spacious rooms and nice TVs
The space of the units at this Extended Stay property was a big plus, with most commenting very positively on the overall size of their studios. Layouts were complemented by good-sized flat-screen TVs, a perk much appreciated by guests.
positive:
Lots to do nearby, but good onward access
Many loved the location here, which put guests in easy reach of nearby shopping as well as a number of restaurants, including Mi Patria, a local favorite. Additionally, the interstate access here was a plus, a perk that made this property especially popular with those traveling the major east-west thoroughfare that is I-80.
positive:
Silky smooth check-in
The staff here do their best to keep check-in procedures to a minimum, a point that was very appreciated by guests.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No computer at night?
Many arriving during the late hours reported having odd check-in experiences. At the time of writing, this property apparently forbids staff from using computers after a certain point in the evening. While staff seem to have adapted to the procedure, it did make check-in formalities somewhat awkward and left guests rather bemused.
negative:
Room wear and tear, smoky units
There were lots of reports of in-room wear and tear at this property. While this gave rooms a down-at-heel feel, the smoky smells were infinitely worse. This latter point was especially surprising, given that this hotel advertises itself as a smoke-free property. Also, many found the mattresses here to be hard, if not distinctly uncomfortable.
negative:
Amenities missing
Finally, guests reported that multiple amenities – especially towels and kitchen utensils – were missing from their rooms. Many were annoyed at repeatedly having to ask the reception team for these items.
