Unpleasant odors in many rooms
An extraordinary number of guests mentioned that their room just didn’t smell good. As is often the case with unpleasant smells, they seemed to find it difficult to describe it, but whatever it was they certainly did not like it.
negative:
Problems related to construction
Guests staying as late as June 216 reported that there was till some pretty extensive construction going on. It wasn’t clear whether this was related to an upgrade or extension, but some guests reported that the noise, dust and other dirt that resulted did negatively affect their stay.
negative:
Some staff attitude issues
Far too many guests for comfort complained about the attitude of the staff. The main complaint was that they were unenthusiastic and “deadpan”, which didn’t exactly make them feel welcome, but in some cases they were even said to be rude.
