Location a plus.
Guests traveling with students loved this hotel's location, close to both the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and Duke University. Either campus can be reached in under 15 minutes by car. The popular Streets at Southpoint, with over 140 retail stores, is also 15 minutes away from the Quality Inn Chapel Hill.

Negative Reviews
negative:
Hard to find.
If you are driving to this hotel on your own, be sure to go over directions before embarking on your journey. Many guests found that this hotel was hidden from main roads, and posed a problem when trying to locate it, even with the using GPS. Luckily, helpful staff were able to guide most guests who had difficulties.
negative:
Older rooms.
While guests found rooms to be well-cleaned, they did encounter rooms that might have been in need of a facelift, according to some. A main point of disappointment were older air-conditioning units that had seen better days. Rooms also seemed dark to some guests, and were in need of a refresh to bring them back to life.
negative:
Inconsistent customer service.
Great interactions with hotel staff were had by many visiting the Quality Inn Chapel Hill, but several were also left dissatisfied with customer service. Curt front desk staff who were sometimes bothered by, or unresponsive to requests, were a big disappointment for guests of this hotel.
