Hotel Hilton Charlotte University Place (Charlotte, USA)

The hotel is right across from The Shoppes at University Place and within walking distance of many family-friendly restaurants such as Applebee's, TGI Friday's, Cheddar's Casual Café, Chili's Grill & Bar and Boardwalk Billy's. The Richardson Stadium and Carolina's Medical Center - University are less than one mile from the hotel and you can reach downtown Charlotte within 15 minutes of driving.

Guests were quite pleased with the level of comfort provided between the free on-site parking, fresh breakfast, free local shuttle service, the outdoor pool, the gym and the in-room refrigerator.

Guests reported that the entire staff was professional and friendly, starting with a warm welcome during the speedy check-in process and continuing with attentive valet, concierge and restaurant staff. Special requests like changing rooms or amending reservation dates were handled efficiently and professionally.

While the hotel has already started renovating some of its public areas, some guests commented that the rooms were in need of updating as well. They stated that there were holes in the walls, the curtains were frayed and the furniture showed serious wear and tear.

When they checked in, a few guests found their rooms to have been inadequately serviced and the level of cleanliness was not consistent, as a few encountered dirty bathrooms, leftover food items, stained floors and did not receive housekeeping services despite having requested them.

Several guests were bothered by the air-conditioning in their rooms, as they hummed loudly and vibrated.
