Close to a host of businesses, bars and cafes and within walking distance of practically everything you'd want to see or visit in the city centre (casinos, convention centres, theatres, sports arenas, museums and galleries), not to mention the university and waterfront; this hotel's location really is second to none.
Numerous guests have commented on the warm and welcoming attitude of the hotel's friendly staff members. The excellent team on reception were singled out as being especially deserving of praise.
Although the hotel itself does not have a car park, it does offer some very favourable discount parking options at a multi-storey next door. If you've tried parking in Auckland city centre before then you'll know just what a godsend this is..!
It has to be said that many of the guest rooms here don't really afford that much in the way of space. If you like to spread out and feel at home then do yourself a favour and ask for an upgrade.
Located as it is on a busy street corner means some of the accommodations within this hotel (i.e. those overlooking the streets) experience a bit of noise late at night and early in the morning. Bring some ear plugs or request a room at the rear of the building to mitigate your chances of being disturbed.
If you want to get online here then it's going to cost you. The sad thing is it's pretty expensive too. Honestly; who charges for Wi-Fi these days..?
