Green Gate (Gdańsk, Poland)

A Renaissance building at the end of the Long Market, The Green Gate is not just a gate that separates the principal street of old Gdansk from the river Motlawa, but a building in its own right, built as a royal residence for the times when the Polish king was visiting Gdansk. It is now a branch of the National Museum, and houses temporary exhibitions from National Museum collections and visiting from Poland and abroad. The Green Gate is also used occasionally for meetings and conferences. It’s open Tue-Sun, and the ticket price depends on the exhibition.
