Views And Colours
You may end up with a room with a fantastic view of the mountains. On a clear day it's magnificent! The multi-coloured lights illuminating during the night from the parlour sign adjacent to the hotel are delightful. It's like a 1940s or 1950s American movie.

Breakfast Is Strange But Good
Breakfast is a nice blend of western and Chinese fare. Though you might find it unusual to have macaroni and cheese for breakfast, the menu has a decent choice of dishes.

The Location Is Worth The Stay
Location of the hotel is great. There's plenty to do and see. The Kung Fu Show, Temple of Heaven, and Pianyifang Roast Duck are all close by. Check-out the Pearl Market where you will find a number of items like jewellry, electronics, and souvenirs at bargain prices.

Comprehension Is Lacking
You might find communication somewhat tricky if you don't speak the local language. However, this is a large tourist hotel and you would expect better English to be spoken; however, that doesn't seem to be the case.

It's Not Working In the Room
Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi only works in the lobby area, and don't be surprised if they try to charge you for using the business centre Wi-Fi.

Housekeeping Is Shabby
Housekeeping of the hotel rooms should be better. You may find stained carpets, old bed linen, peeling wall paper, and a smoke smell throughout the hotel. The lighting seems to be a bit dim in the room as well; however, this is can probably be boiled down to a matter of preference.
