SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Gatlinburg (Gatlinburg, USA)

Large, adequate rooms. Many have shared balconies overlooking the river or mountainside, which is quite lovely if you don't mind sharing with a few other guests. Excellent shower pressure, large flat screen televisions and very comfortable beds. Separate entrances are convenient.

It's a bit of a hike from this locale to downtown Gatlinburg (maybe fifteen minutes) but you'll save enough money to be worth the walk compared to more central locations. Still within strolling distance of almost everything. Short ride to the National Park and close to the tram station.

Very polite, friendly and charming staff attend to your every need here, willing to go above and beyond for their guests' comfort. Don't hesitate to give them a call if you need anything at all.

Trash is not immediately removed from the grounds. Some requested queen-sized beds and felt they received smaller, although staff assured them they were queens. Dirty bathrooms. Stained bedding has caused some guests to demand their sheets/bedspreads be changed upon their arrival. Areas smell musty. Bring slippers - walking on the carpeting will leave your socks black. Parking space is fought over with the staff, and the guests often lose and have to park farther away.

Lighting is dim in some rooms and the water in sinks flows only cold. Towels are minuscule and there are strange make-do provisions for door stops and railings. Heaters turn on and off randomly throughout the night no matter what setting you try. Sinks being on the other side of the room from toilet and shower could be changed as well.

The line for waffles is long and there's no fruit. Juice is too diluted.
