The owners are friendly, kind, and will sit down and have a nice chit-chat. The owner is very easy going, which makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. You are welcome to have a run of the place as well.
Within a short walk you are at the seafront. There, you can take a tram to Pleasure Beach and use a family day ticket to ride the trams throughout the day. You are also close to the north pier near plenty of shops and restaurants. The hotel is easy to find and the large car park is cheap. It's a no-fuss location in the busy part of town.
The whole disco lights and disco scene feels old-fashioned. It feels like a place you would go to decades ago. The only thing missing is the vinyl LPs! The area is a bit small for a nightclub atmosphere as well. Then again, if this is your scene, enjoy!
You may find that the hotel décor could use a refurbishing. Wallpaper hanging off the wall, shelves not properly secured to the wall, windows not shutting properly, thin curtains, bad odours, and leaking is not a good look.
Though the hotel location has a lot going on, you may find it's a bit shady. It's situated near all the main bars and clubs, so you can expect plenty of noise. The area is not the best as the hotel is situated on a busy road in a questionable part of Blackpool.
