Hotel The Inn On The River (Pigeon Forge, USA)

The Inn on River Pigeon is the just the place to enjoy a relaxing and fun filled family holiday. With a scenic river location and proximity to Highway 441 in Pigeon Forge, guests relish the surroundings and the ease of commuting to places. Children particularly will find the Dolly Theme Park which is just about eight kilometers from the Inn exciting and fun. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is also the same distance and many shops and restaurants are close by too.

The 128 rooms have soundproofing and equipped with LCD satellite TVs, mini fridges and coffee makers. Many of the rooms feature private balconies with views of the flowing river. Some rooms have a Jacuzzi and some have a fireplace.

The inn has an outdoor pool by the river and guests can swim and relax on the sun loungers enjoying the views. For winter, a heated indoor pool and a family size hot tub are present. The lobby of the inn has a fire place and guests can unwind with coffee, tea or hot chocolate served playing games or reading. A fresh popcorn treat is also provided every evening. A business center with facilities for fax, print or copy is present as well and meetings can be held too. The inn serves a hot and complimentary breakfast every day. Parking and Wi-Fi are available freely.

Breakfast area is rather crowded and the food is not properly organized. Guests have to queue up and wait their turn, which is irksome. The breakfast menu is not very healthy either. The flatware like forks and plates provided are plastic and difficult to eat with.

The rooms have bugs in the beds and guests have been bitten. Beds are on the harder side and uncomfortable.

The pool is smelly and nauseating and prevents guests from using it. Smoking is allowed near the pool area and the smell of smoke is prevalent.
