Positive Reviews
positive:
The price is right.
In a district where they can virtually charge what they want, the cost here is extremely reasonable and represents good quality and value. Suites are spacious and kitchen areas are well equipped. There are plenty of convenience stores around if you're on a tight budget; including Walgreen's just outside and on the corner.
positive:
Super, South Beach location.
It's really in the heart of where you want to be and yet it's really quiet, so prepare for some restful nights' sleep in some really comfy beds. You're one block from Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road is within easy walking distance.
positive:
Impressive services.
Front desk staff couldn't be better and the suites are cleaned regularly and thoroughly by very friendly staff. There's no breakfast here but that's not a problem as there are lots of great morning cafes (*and one or two that should be avoided!) in the immediate area.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Not the key to success.
It may be just a phase and one that has been corrected, but the key cards don't work properly and despite the efforts of all concerned, there is no solution. The situation builds up into an unnecessary negative pressure. A real pain.
negative:
The Gates of Hell
If you are unlucky, your room will be close to the metal security gates which all guests must go through on entering the building-at all times of the day and night! There's an element of intrusive street noise too.
negative:
No 'intensive care' for cars
It seems that the valet parking exercise is divorced from the Suites' administration. There can be huge delays in getting your car back and no front desk assistance. The rumour is that, far from being parked securely, your car is several miles away, on a hospital parking lot!
