The guest rooms offer spectacular countryside views. In particular, guests loved that it was dark enough at night to enjoy some really great star-gazing and that they could see the red rock formations from their rooms.

There is a lot to do in the area surrounding the lodge. Guests enjoyed taking on the mountain trails on foot or on hired mountain bicycles. The well-known Bell Rock is a short five-minute walk from the lodge and the area offers peace and relaxing away from city life.

Reviewers were very impressed at the pet friendly policy at the lodge. Guests felt that their pets were safe and very welcome on the property. There is load of space for your pets to run freely outside.

Reviewers have reported that upon arrival at the lodge they found the rooms to be quite dirty. Dirty floors and bedding, hair and stained furniture were among the issues reported.

Guests indicated that they found the personnel to be quite unfriendly and not willing to go the extra mile. Guests' requests were not met and they were made to feel quite unwelcome.

Some of the room furnishings are faulty or damaged. Guests reported that the found that the fireplaces and the televisions did not work, there were holes in the bed linens and chair upholstery. Guests also found that the water pressure in the showers was very low.
