Hotel Pismo Lighthouse Suites (Pismo Beach, USA)

Guests were pleased to find that the size of their suites exceeded their expectations. Those staying here with families and as couples said that they had plenty of room to move around and also to stow away their belongings. The suites are equipped with all the mod-cons including microwaves and fridges which made it easy for the guests to prepare their own meals.

Many enjoyed spending their free time on the open deck where there are ping- pong tables as well as a badminton and miniature golf course. The outside pool also proved popular with many young visitors together with the life-size chess board.

The resort looks out onto the ocean and has direct access to the beach which many of the guests found very convenient. Although the resort has an outdoor pool those who wanted to enjoy various water sports or just strolling along the ocean shore where pleased to know that they had a sandy beach on their doorstep.

Guests who stayed at the resort during the warmer months said that their suites often felt quite hot and stuffy due to the lack of air-conditioning units. Although fans were provided and some guests kept their balcony door open, many found these methods inadequate when it came to cooling down their rooms.

The dining area where the breakfasts are served has been described as quite small and cramped with quite a few guests objecting to having to wait at the self-service counter due to the queues.

There is no lift on the premises which meant that guests who were allocated rooms on the upper floor faced a daily climb of several flights of stairs.
