Hotel Edgewater Inn and Suites (Pismo Beach, USA)

Many guests felt they received great value for their money when staying at Edgewater Inn & Suites. Big, clean rooms with comfortable beds and ocean sunset views had a lot of visitors saying, "what more could you ask for?".

Guests stopping for an overnight stay when driving between San Francisco and Los Angeles, wished they had more time to linger with the variety of things to do in the area. With easy access to the highway, this hotel is also close to the hot springs of Avila beach, some of the best still operating in California. More than a dozen wineries can also be found a short drive away.

Friendly staff were there to help and provided great customer service, according to guests. From recommendations for local attractions, to taking care of any problems that arose, guests were satisfied with front desk staff.

Road noise from a busy highway, combined with an older building, meant some guests heard more than they would have liked at the Edgewater Inn & Suites. Thin walls didn't help to muffle noise from other guests. Previous visitors recommended asking for a top floor and/or end room.

Some guests found out the hard way that their ocean view room wasn't as advertised. A partial ocean view, or view of the sea that could only be seen when looking out of one side of the window, didn't equate to a true ocean view for some.

While many guests were happy with their rooms, others felt that this hotel had been around for awhile without any updates. Older furnishings and a tired appearance were noticed by some guests.
