This is a charming little place that offers the right balance of privacy and cozy accommodations. The beds are comfy, there's decent storage and personal space, and the ambience is quaint and inviting. It's a nice option when traveling in or through the area.

Pigeon River Inn is perfectly located for leaving the car behind and seeing the area on foot. There's plenty of shopping, eateries, and local attractions that you can walk to, so you can really absorb the atmosphere and culture.

This is a warm and welcoming environment where you can have everything you need for a short stay away from home. The staff are polite and always helpful, and enjoy getting to know a bit about the guests and what brings them to the area.

Although the breakfast is tasty, it's often not served with enough amounts to amply go around. Depending on how many guests are at the inn, the offerings are likely to run out quickly, so if you're not there right when it's served, you may not get anything to eat.

Housekeeping could use a bit of a refresher course, as the rooms aren't always consistently maintained. There are spots left to be swept or wiped down, and amenities such as paper products are not always replenished.

You have to obtain a parking pass, and unfortunately it often includes sales pitches for a variety of attractions and services. It's impolite, awkward, and just bad business to put guests through the spiels in order to get what's needed to park.
