The rooms were often described as being clean and well-maintained. Budget-conscious travellers often said they got reasonable value for money thanks to the competitive room rates for the area.

Convenient location south of downtown Dallas
Drivers in particular loved the location of this property as it was only a short drive south of downtown Dallas and just off the junction of Interstate 35E and Loop 12. It was reportedly easy to get to city attractions, theme parks, sports venues, museums, universities, shopping centres and airports. Motorists were also glad there was ample free parking. Another bonus was the proximity of petrol stations and bus stops plus shopping and dining options.

Negative Reviews
negative:
Nuisance noises and smells encountered
Even though plenty of guests said they enjoyed a fairly quiet stay, nuisance noises like the sound of footsteps and slamming doors sometimes travelled easily through the walls and caused a disturbance for several light sleepers. Lingering smoky smells disappointed travellers in certain rooms.
negative:
Maintenance and cleanliness grumbles
Critics occasionally took issue with cleanliness and maintenance problems in some of the rooms. These included bathrooms that could have been better cleaned, inadequately cleaned floors, stained bedding and broken shower-heads.
negative:
Lack of breakfast disappointed some visitors
It came as a disappointment to some guests that there was no breakfast available at this property, apart from free morning coffee in the lobby.
