Guests really seemed to like the hotel’s location. They felt that they got the best of both worlds. The hotel was very close to the freeway, so easy to find initially, but also pretty close to Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan for when they needed to head into town.

With limited exceptions, guests believed they had received excellent value for money. They felt they got a decent clean room in a great location for very little money. The one exception was on days when the University of Michigan was holding major events, when prices were hiked.

Guest absolutely loved that the hotel laid on a cheap shuttle to get its guests to and from the big game they were attending at the University of Michigan.

Guests really did not have a good experience with the Wi-Fi. They found the system itself unreliable and very frustrating, requiring one to repeatedly log in after short periods of inactivity. But what really annoyed them was that that the hotel charged extra for the service. Considering the central role connectivity plays nowadays, they felt it should have been included in the room rate.

An extraordinary number of guests had a very specific complaint when it came to the beds. They were much too hard for comfort. Those who like soft and plush mattresses will likely be disappointed.

While guests understood that it was a budget property, they thought that room amenities were a bit thin on the ground, even for a hotel in this category.
