The food served in Weber's Restaurant is excellent. This is hearty, familiar food such as ribs and pizza. Breads and muffins are freshly prepared and baked in the restaurant kitchen every day. There are meals to suit all budgets ranging from the pricier to daily discount offers.

Not only does the on-site restaurant offer a selection of good value meals, but the hotel also provides good, clean rooms without a huge price tag. The hotel offers various deals some of which include a meals or room service and drinks in the lounge bar. Room service is also very good and efficient and available for a reasonable fee.

There are plenty of parking spaces, so guests with a car needn't ever worry about securing one. Although the hotel is old, dating from the 1930s it has elevators for guests who have a room on higher floors. The free Wi-Fi works very well and is accessible in all areas.

Some of the rooms have been renovated, while those that have yet to be updated suffer from old fixtures and fittings. From furniture to flooring, everything feels rather outdated.

The salt-water swimming pool isn't particularly big and is suitable for relaxing in, rather than being large enough for guests to actually swim in. Adults may also find that they don't get a chance to enjoy the pool due to its popularity with children staying in the hotel. The area surrounding the pool is however safe, with a non-slip deck in place.

The hotel advertises that it has a fitness center, this however, is more of a small gym with some pieces of cardio equipment rather than a fully kitted out workout space.
