Positive Reviews
positive:
Adequate, Decent Location
Excellent proximity to Dover Speedway and Dover Air Force Base. Good value for the buck (according to most, with a few mixed reviews) and there's a surface parking lot as well as an underground area - great for inclement weather. Spacious and clean common areas with a fresh-smelling lobby and beautiful views. Vending machines are available on each floor for late night snacking, and there's also a free breakfast served on-site every morning. Basic continental options are available as well as hot items like eggs and sausage. Plenty of dining and shopping venues within a short ride of the hotel including Franco's Pasta, Subway on the AFB, McDonald's, Speedway Cafe, Food Lion and Wawa Food Market. A no frills spot to rest and recuperate when in Dover.
positive:
Pleasant, Basic Rooms
Rooms are tidy with basic amenities. Good beds, desks, refrigerators, sofa beds, televisions and plenty of electrical outlets. Some units have window seats/beds, which are quite lovely. Recycling boxes are provided as a nice touch for the environmentally conscious.
positive:
Friendly, Efficient Staff
Check-in is at 3:00 pm, but you may be able to get in earlier - this staff is on the ball! Helpful and charming from arrival to departure.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Hit or Miss Wi-Fi
Mixed reviews on the Wi-Fi connectivity: Some reported it was excellent throughout their stay; others insisted it was horrible when multiple guests were on-line.
negative:
Room Foibles
Some were unimpressed with their rooms, mentioning old box televisions, low (or uncomfortably heavy) water pressure, hard beds, missing towels, inadequate air conditioning, dirty refrigerators, broken features/furniture, ants on floors/walls, and damaged pack-n-plays being offered as baby cribs.
negative:
Noisy Neighbors
Some had trouble sleeping due to noise from neighboring guests and others were disturbed by the ongoing construction crews starting early and leaving a mess behind them.
