The shoppers among the guests mentioned that there was a particularly good mall nearby, the Oak Park Mall. They seemed to find all the shops and goods they desired within the mall and were happy they didn't need to go traipsing off to the other side of town to find them.

While guests weren't exactly falling over themselves to say the hotel was excellent value for money, there were a number who felt that it did provide solid value. Given the facilities and room rate, it's fair to say most felt they received adequate value for money.

The hotel is right by an exit on the I-35. Guests found this very convenient, both when arriving and searching for it the first time, and also when heading off for their busy day of appointments or activities.

While guests certainly appreciated having it available, since it meant they didn't need to find a restaurant ,they didn't think much of the breakfast. It was described as too basic to offer much by way of variety or excitement.

An extraordinary number of guests reported maintenance issues with their rooms - everything from water not draining properly to broken doorknobs. While the problems were often relatively minor, it did not impress guests that they had not been seen to.

While noise from outside did not seem to be a problem, a couple of guests mentioned that they could easily hear the noise from the hallways and adjacent rooms. One culprit was said to be the doors, which had a gap at the bottom, but the impression was that the rooms were poorly soundproofed in general.
