The hotel is conveniently located being just a short stroll away from many of the city's attractions including museums and music venues. Guests were pleased to find that they could reach the main shopping area on foot and those wishing to sample the local bars and restaurants appreciated having plenty of amenities on their doorstep.

All the members of staff at the hotel have been highly praised by the guests who said that they felt extremely well-looked after for the duration of their stay. Front-desk staff offered helpful advice to guests with regards to local attractions and transport whilst those who had particular requests said that they were dealt with in a professional and courteous manner. .

Guests who used the outdoor-pool said that the facility was clean and of decent size and that the pool area was well-presented with plenty of comfortable loungers available for sun bathing. The fitness center was also prised by many who said that it was spacious with a good range of up-to-date equipment. .

Some guests said that they waited longer than expected to get served at the on-site bar whilst others objected to the fact that they had to wait for quite a while in order to be seated at breakfast. .

The hotel is a popular venue for parties and wedding receptions which means that it can get quite busy and crowded. Some guests said they objected to not being able to use some of the facilities most notably the lounge which was often hired for private functions. .

The walls have been described as being quite thin with quite a few guests mentioning that they could hear everything going on in the adjoining rooms. .
