Hotel The Fontaine (Kansas City, USA)

The hotel is located in a beautiful part of Kansas City with a wide variety of fine restaurants and shopping locations in its vicinity. There are several key attractions close by including Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art (a 17-minute walk away) and Liberty Memorial which is located 5km from the hotel, among other attractions.

Sorella Country Club Plaza have repeatedly reported that the hotel's staff goes over and above your typical hotel staff. The staff is very warm and friendly, not to mention super-efficient. Botched bookings are handled very quickly and expertly even when the blame falls squarely on the guest. Staff members are also very knowledgeable about numerous local tourist hotspots as well as a wide selection of fine restaurants and readily help guests out with information. The complimentary shuttle drivers are very friendly as well.

The hotel is very tastefully designed and sports an attractive décor. The lobby consists of Italian marble, curved sofa, a variety of fine artwork, and a Venetian glass chandelier for the centerpiece. The rooms are large and spacious with a modern yet cozy décor.

Guests have reported that room service is not as punctual as services in the rest of the hotel. Orders can sometimes take hours to get delivered.

Guests who have stayed at rooms overlooking the expansive lobby have complained that they are far too noisy especially when there are large events being held in the lobby. This goes on late into the night.

Although Sorella Country Club Plaza has a nice and modern gym that is well equipped, the workout room is smallish and can only accommodate a few guests at a time.
