Hotel La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Dallas Uptown (Dallas, USA)

Guests who brought their pets along were clearly impressed with the way they were treated. They felt like they were genuinely welcomed and that the whole hotel was set up in such a fashion that those with pets were made to feel right at home.

While the breakfast as a whole received very mixed reviews, guests definitely enjoyed the waffles. La Quinta has machines that guests are able to use to make their own piping hot waffles. The ones here patriotically produce waffles in the shape of the Lone Star State, which guests really enjoyed.

The hotel is right by a highway exit. Guests found this convenient on arrival, when searching for the hotel, and also when heading to and fro to their destinations.

While not mentioned often, it was pointed out that, unlike most La Quinta properties, this hotel has no fitness center. Those who mentioned it were a bit disappointed that they wouldn't be able to continue with their workout routine.

While this happens in any hotel from time time, an astonishing number of guests here reported that their card had been charged twice. Of course it was frustrating to get the charges reversed. The reasons for the double billing were not always clear. Sometimes the use of third party booking sites was claimed to be the cause, but guests didn't always buy this.

Though the superior rooms do have these amenities, those in the standard rooms sorely missed them. They had no practical method to keep their cold drinks cold, or to heat up a pre-movie snack.
