Hotel La Quinta by Wyndham Dallas Grand Prairie South (Grand Prairie, USA)

Again and again guests mentioned how terrific the staff at the hotel were. The reception staff came in for special praise for offering guests a warm and friendly welcome after what had often been a long and tiring trip.

Although the breakfast is a relatively simple continental affair, it appears that guests really appreciated having it included in the room-rate and available at the hotel. It prevented them from having to search for a place for breakfast when they really just wished to get on with the day.

While not too many mentioned it, a few commented that they thought the rooms were a pretty decent size for a mid-range hotel. They seemed to enjoy the sense of luxury that the added space gave the room.

A couple of guests reported that they sometimes found it hard to find a table at breakfast. It seems that the breakfast room might be too small to accommodate all guests when the hotel is particularly busy, leaving some standing with a plate full of food and nowhere to enjoy it.

While there weren't many complaints regarding room assignments, some did mention that they booked a particular room, and received confirmation from the hotel, only to be told on check-in that there were no more rooms of that type remaining. They were not happy to be assigned to a different room.

While reviews of bed comfort were truly mixed, future potential guests should note that many felt the mattresses were quite a bit too firm for their liking. Those who like soft mattresses may be a bit disappointed.
