Hotel La Dolce Vita Resort & Spa (Palm Springs, USA)

Despite guests really liking the facilities provided at the resort, it was perhaps the attitude and friendliness of its staff that made the biggest impression on them during their stay. It was rare to read a review that did not praise the staff, wit most saying that they offered a warm welcome and terrific service.

Guests mentioned that they really didn’t need to travel far in order to eat well, with many saying they found excellent restaurants well within walking distance. The New York Company Restaurant and Bar was especially highly recommended.

Going by the reviews, it seems that it was the hotels two pools and their terraces were the amenities that most impressed guests. They were described as the perfect places to relax in complete peace, quiet and privacy.

Guests mentioned that all was not 100% when it came to the room décor. They felt that it was beginning to show its age, both in terms of design and simple wear and tear. The feeling seemed to be that the rooms could do with at least a quick refresh.

A surprising number of guests reported that they found their bathroom to be much too small. It was said that the building is an older one with historic interest and that the small bathrooms were perhaps a result of the current owners not wanting to change the original design too much. But whatever the reason, quite a number of guests did not like their size.
