Beautiful grounds and rooms
Guests found the entire property to be well-maintained and decorated with a lot of attention to detail. The exterior and interior feature a Polynesian theme, which guests thought was wonderful and great for a photo-op even. The lush green lawn is well manicured, the pool is surrounded by palm trees, straw cabanas, Tiki statues and boasts several BBQ grills, and the rooms follow that same Tiki theme.

Smoke concerns.
The hotel allows smoking by the pool, and several guests noted how bothersome that could be when you're trying to sunbathe or enjoy your BBQ. Some also reported that the rooms smelled like cold smoke, which housekeeping doesn't seem to address efficiently enough.
negative:
Some repairs needed.
Several guests reported that the rooms and appliances are in need of repairs, as they noted loose door knobs, ripped shower curtains, old mattresses and broken closets. They also mentioned that the phones don't work, which might be an issue if you arrive without a cell phone.
negative:
Rooms dated
While the public areas have recently been renovated, guests noted that the rooms were still a bit outdated. They suggested that the carpets and the bathroom tiles be replaced, the rooms be painted and the mold, which some guests found, be removed.
