Positive Reviews
positive:
True Southern hospitality..
The front desk staff have received many rave reviews for their friendly and professional customer service. Several guests have commented that the breakfast team is also cheerful and accommodating, often opening the buffet a few minutes early for guests with a flight to catch or big groups on a tight schedule. Compliments also go to the chef: guests are generally pleased with the quality and variety on offer at the complimentary buffet and evening social, which also includes a choice of iced tea, beer, and wine.
positive:
Clean, comfortable rooms..
Most guests describe the rooms as very clean, with comfortable beds, a choice of pillows, and well equipped kitchens. Families and groups particularly enjoy the added space and privacy of the one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites. Guests also enjoy the sunny outdoor pool when it is open.
positive:
A convenient location..
Business travelers appreciate the hotel's location minutes from the Market Center complex, happy to avoid the downtown Dallas traffic on the way there and back each day. Guests who do want to visit the many attractions of downtown Dallas find it is a short commute, either in their own cars or the complimentary shuttle. The shuttle also goes to Love Field Airport, about a six-minute drive.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A noisy night for some..
Light sleepers in rooms overlooking the freeway generally find the traffic noise to be too loud for a good night's rest. A few others had the same problem with noisy air conditioning.
negative:
The nose knows..
Though the hotel is advertised as non-smoking, a few guests have been disturbed by cigarette odor or a "musty" smell.
negative:
Nobody's perfect..
Though reviews of the staff are largely positive, a few guests found them professional, but not particularly warm and friendly. An unfortunate minority received indifferent responses to their concerns.
