Historic charm and modern luxury..
Many guests are thoroughly charmed by the Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza's unique architecture. The 300-year-old adobe building is arranged around a pretty courtyard with a large heated swimming pool, hot tub, and kiva fireplace. Its Southwestern decor is often described as "elegant", while the beds are "exceptionally" comfortable and the bathrooms are "luxurious".

The front desk staff and concierge staff have received many positive reviews for their thoughtful and professional customer service, with guests often noting that they are welcomed "like family or old friends".
positive:
An ideal location..
Guests rave about the hotel's convenient location just two blocks from the shops, restaurants, and galleries in the city's historic plaza. Museum Hill is also within a comfortable stroll, and many guests enjoy their time at the Georgia O'Keefe Museum, fine art museum, and the history museum. The Palace of Governors and many historic churches are also within walking distance.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Technical difficulties..
Several guests have reported slow or unreliable Wi-Fi, or else poor cell phone reception in their rooms. A few others have been troubled by noisy or ineffective air conditioning.
negative:
Room for improvement in room service..
A few guests are dismayed when their room service arrives in a paper bag with plastic containers and cutlery. Though many guests find their rooms very clean, others are disappointed in the overall level of housekeeping services.
negative:
A poor first impression for some..
Though the staff have received many positive reviews, a few guests have noted there is often only one team member working the front desk, resulting in a long lineup of tired travelers. Some who are there to report maintenance concerns or dissatisfaction with their assigned rooms have been frustrated by an indifferent or even impolite response.
