A stand-out in Santa Fe
Whether they stayed in the boutique Hotel Santa Fe or opted for the luxurious experience offered by The Hacienda, guests appear to be overwhelmingly impressed by their experience here. From check-in to check-out, many felt that this hotel - from décor and dining to amenities and customer service - offers guests a first-class experience in Santa Fe.
positive:
Great shuttle service
This property's shuttle service appears to be the delight of many a guest. Drivers will pick-up and drop-off anywhere in the city and it is an amenity for which many guests - especially those who wish to avoid the traffic of Santa Fe - are extremely grateful. Many also added that drivers are keen to share their local knowledge, especially when it comes to wining and dining in the area.
positive:
Delightful dining and atmospheric lobby bar
But should you choose to eat in, the property's in-house restaurant, Amaya, appears to be an excellent dining option, featuring a fantastic dinner menu and scrumptious brunch options. Many also thoroughly enjoyed the Southwestern ambience of the hotel's lobby bar.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Location a little lacking
While it is within walking distance of Santa Fe Plaza, this hotel is not directly on the square. This distance makes for a peaceful atmosphere, but a few found the location to be too quiet for their liking.

Some updates needed
Some - especially those who stayed in the conventional hotel rather than The Hacienda - noted that their rooms were small and somewhat outdated, especially in terms of the bathrooms. The hotel management has responded to these comments by explaining that it is in the process of refurbishing all of the property's rooms.
negative:
Additional amenity fee
Finally, some were unhappy at finding an amenity fee tagged onto their final bill, rather than being included in the initial booking price.
