Convenient for local attractions
Regardless of their purpose of travel, most guests found this DoubleTree location to be well-suited to their needs. positive:
Super suites
By all accounts, the size of the suites here are certainly commendable. If the space wasn't enough, guests seemed to love that each unit featured two TVs in two separate rooms. This set-up was perfect for night owls and even better for those with conflicting tastes in entertainment.
positive:
The little touches matter
If you think that thoughtfully designed suites and a great location equates to the perfect hotel experience, then you'd be wrong. With its attentive staff, smiley service and free cookies upon check-in, this hotel goes a step further to show that it's the little things that matter most.

Parking isn't free
Parking seems to be the most consistent complaint here. Many were unhappy to be charged a daily fee for this amenity and those with larger, higher vehicles also struggled to fit into the property's allotted spaces.
negative:
Closer to airport than downtown
While some of SLC's attractions are walking distance from this hotel, a number of visitors felt that this property was more convenient to the airport rather than to the downtown area itself.

Staff blips
The vast majority of guests had fantastic experiences with this hotel's staff, but there were a few customer service blips to speak of here. Some noted that the service in the bar and lounge area was especially slow, as was the service in the breakfast area.
