Gorgeous mountain views.
For a wilderness getaway but with all the conveniences of civilization, you could hardly pick a better location than this. You'll wake up each morning to the sun rising over Lookout Mountain, and after a long day adventuring, you can return to the facilities of this Days Inn hotel. It also offers easy access to the interstate.
positive:
Family-friendly atmosphere.
Kids will love splashing about in the indoor pool, while there's space for parents to keep an eye on them. The whole environment here is family-friendly, with both children and pets made to feel as welcome as adult guests, and there are suites with multiple beds so that you can all stay in one room.
positive:
Peaceful and quiet.
After all that fresh air and mountain hiking, it won't take much more than the comfy bedding and climate-controlled bedroom to whisk you away to the land of nod, and luckily, guests say that the hotel is very quiet and tranquil, so there should be little to prevent you getting a great night's sleep.
Negative Reviews
negative:
The housekeeping isn't always brilliant.
Some guests have complained about the cleaning standards at this hotel, saying that the housekeeping can be sporadic, or not done to a high standard every time. Whether it's little things, like the coffee maker not being cleaned, or finding that the carpets are dirty, it's not always the best first impression.
negative:
Some problems with the upkeep.
As well as cleaning, there are some maintenance issues at this hotel, with some guests reporting that apparent renovations and updates have done little to rectify actual problems, such as air con units that don't work properly, or worn furniture.
negative:
Breakfast is fairly limited.
Standard continental fare is offered at this hotel, with some guests saying it doesn't offer a great amount of choice. The main problem seems to be items running out before breakfast is over, and the fact that the breakfast area is also fairly cramped.
