Hotel Courtyard Rochester Mayo Clinic Area/Saint Marys (Rochester, USA)

Given its location, it’s not surprising to learn that the vast majority of guests at this hotel were in town for medical treatments and hospital appointments. For these visitors and their families, this property’s location is superb and offers easy access to two major hospitals.

The staff at this hotel know their guests well. Many, of course, are here for serious medical procedures and treatments and so the team go out of their way to ensure that stays are as fuss-free as possible. Empathetic without being intrusive, most guests commented that the staff at this Courtyard location provide low-key yet thoughtful assistance as and when needed. This was something that guests truly appreciated.

The beds here are superbly comfortable, with the vast majority of guests reporting excellent sleep quality. Additionally, the rooms are decidedly spacious. Many – especially those staying at this property on a long-term basis – were very grateful for the extra room.

While the convenience of the on-site bistro was much appreciated, many hankered after a better quality of breakfast for a lower price. Most also felt that a wider selection of offerings would be appreciated.

Parking is available here for an additional daily fee. However, many felt that this charge was rather steep and an odd departure from the overall thoughtful ambience that otherwise permeates this hotel.

While rooms were spacious and comfortable, many felt that the overall interior decoration here was rather dated.
