The beds and pillows are comfortable, the pool is enjoyable and the executive suites have had jetted tubs added. It is a pet friendly hotel, welcoming dogs for an additional overnight fee. .

Located right off Interstate-85, the hotel is only minutes from restaurants, downtown Kannapolis and neighboring Concord. It is also a short drive from a large shopping mall, the Charlotte Motor Speedway and about 30 minutes' drive to the city of Charlotte itself. .

While the main beds are comfortable, anyone who might need to use one of the pull out beds in the room could be disappointed. They are said to be old and uncomfortable.

Former guests have said the hotel's free WiFi can sometimes be weaker in some of the upper level floors, making it difficult to impossible to do work in the room. They also said the provided business centre had no privacy. .
