Many guests thought that the hotel's location is the chief point in its favor. The proximity to the race track and other attractions, as well as easy access off the interstate of the area makes this hotel a convenient choice for visitors to the areas.

The Rodeway Inn is described as budget accommodation with amenities that some business and leisure visitors found to be adequate.

The hotel provides in room amenities such as fridge, microwave and TV which guests can use. Some rooms also have Jacuzzis in their rooms.

The Rodeway Inn has more negative reviews than positive ones. Many guests felt that the hotel rooms were dirty, old, dark and poorly maintained. Inadequate levels of hygiene in the bathroom, sheets with holes in them and rooms reeking of cigarette smoke were reported.

Guests said that the in-room fridge and microwave were not much use because they often don’t work. The air conditioner is also reported to be noisy and/or not working by several guests. In addition, bugs in the bathrooms, broken door knobs, broken tiles in the bathrooms and other problems are reported by many guests.

Several guests thought that the service at the hotel was subpar and described the staff as being rude and unfriendly; as reluctant or unable to address problems guests were facing. Requests such as for fresh towels or cleaning of rooms are met with poor responses. The hotel has no restaurant and does not serve breakfast.
