Hotel Columbia Club (Indianapolis, USA)

You are right in the center of the city at this perfectly located hotel and if you're lucky you might even get a view of the circle and the monument. You're also just a few steps away from many places to eat, shop, and drink making this hotel the perfect base.

This place is a piece of local history, and you get the feeling walking through the door that the hotel has some stories to tell. The Harrison bar/restaurant has an area dedicated to the former president and is like a museum in itself.

The food served up here isn't what you would call fine dining but all the classics are on the menu, and all are cooked to perfection. You can enjoy dinner in the bar and a few drinks later while sitting in those luxurious leather armchairs.

Some guests have been rather annoyed at the hotel's assertion that you cannot bring food or drink into the hotel room. There have also been a few guests that found the front desk staff to be a little uncaring of their problems.

The staff at this hotel aren't very thorough when cleaning the rooms between guests. Some people were quite sure that the tubs hadn't been cleaned and that they had found beds that were remade but without clean sheets.

Some may like the vintage feel of the bar and lobby which is quite historic in appearance, but they aren't too pleased with the rooms as the décor is dated. They feel that the furniture has seen better days too and needs to be replaced.
