positive:
Comfortable condo accommodation.
When you can get an entire apartment for roughly the same price of a single, mid-range hotel room, then you know you're onto a good deal. Families in particular love the size and facilities of these condos, with every home comfort included - from dishwashers to Wi-Fi and everything in-between.
positive:
Good breakfast and light dinner.
You can give yourself some get up and go each morning with the free buffet breakfast that's provided. Guests say that there's a good amount of choice, with eggs, waffles and fruit included. Plus, if you're not that hungry in the evening, guests say that the food provided at Happy Hour is almost a light dinner - bonus!
positive:
Handy location for I-435 and local amenities.
If you're attending an event at the nearby convention center, guests say this hotel is a very convenient place to stay, right across the road. If you're venturing further afield, there are great road connections to central Kansas City, and it's just off the interstate if you're road-tripping.
Negative Reviews
negative:
In need of some updating.
Guests say that the hotel is outdated, with decor that could use a revamp, and some facilities in need of TLC. There are a few common maintenance issues reported, such as with the communal stairs, which some guests warn are a bit unsafe.
negative:
The pool is small and only seasonal.
While the outdoor pool is a bonus in the summer months, it isn't open year-round, so it's worth verifying before you visit, especially if a swimming pool features high on your hotel checklist. Guests say that it's very small too, so it can be crowded, and not ideal for serious swimmers.
negative:
Issues with the air con.
Some guests have said that the air conditioning isn't all that brilliant at cooling the room, particularly when it's really hot. It seems to be an issue in some rooms more than others, so if you're having problems, it's worth speaking to staff to see if the issue can be resolved.
