Absolutely filthy throughout
The vast majority of guests were very unhappy with the cleanliness of their rooms, saying that it was clear that neither the housekeeping staff, nor the management, had any pride in their work. They were said to barely go through the motions of cleaning the rooms, leaving them in an unacceptable state.

In desperate need of a full makeover
Guests felt not only that the décor was old and out of fashion, but that the whole property was in an exceptionally poor state. It was clear to them that the property had not been properly maintained over the years and that only a full and complete renovation could return it to an acceptable state.

Very poor breakfast
Guests did not think much of the breakfast at all. The general impression was that it provided the least possible in terms of variety and taste to still allow the hotel to tick “breakfast” off a procedural checklist. Guests thought it was so bad they would be better off buying their own breakfast elsewhere.
