Positive Reviews
positive:
Well-appointed rooms.
Your room at Baymont Inn and Suites Indianapolis South will have all the amenities you could ask for, including the convenience of a fridge and microwave. You can relax while browsing the internet with the free Wi-Fi, catch your favorite show on TV, or peruse the daily paper over your morning coffee.
positive:
Local restaurants a short stroll away.
Unlike many off-interstate hotels, which have absolutely nothing within walking distance, here, you'll have a choice of casual dining restaurants within walking distance. It's a real plus when you arrive tired and hungry, and rather than having to drive around the area, you can just pop into an inviting eatery nearby.
positive:
Good value for money.
Most guests think that this hotel offers great value for money, with family rooms available, and good facilities, including a pool and business center. They don't scrimp on the freebies here, so you get a lot for what you pay, whether you're visiting for business or leisure.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Traffic noise from the interstate.
The hotel is located right next to I-65, and the rooms on the road side of the hotel are prone to traffic noise that doesn't cease, day or night. It only seems to affect that side of the hotel, however, so if you're worried about it, request a room away from the road, and it should be quiet.
negative:
The rooms need a facelift.
While most of the amenities seem to function well, and the furnishings are comfortable, the overall look of the rooms is a bit tired and old-fashioned. If you're not bothered by design, it's no big issue, but some redecoration would breathe new life into the place.
negative:
Breakfast is a carb-fest.
Would you like some waffles with your bagels? The breakfast choices at this hotel are limited to refined, processed carbs, which is fine for a quick snack in the morning, but if you want a good portion of fresh fruit or protein, you'll be disappointed.
