AC Hotel by Marriott Miami Beach (Miami Beach, USA)

Guests enjoyed the rooftop pool with expanding views of the city and ocean. It was a good time to relax and enjoy the water or just take in the views from above. It is not too crowded and has a nice lounge area as well.

The hotel is relatively new and the design of the rooms and public spaces took many by surprise. It is contemporary and many liked the European feel of the design. The lines are clean and the space airy and bright.

Some guests were surprised to know the parking fee was not free and was charged for quite a bit more than they expected. They would have liked the fee to have been less a day, especially for those who stayed there for a longer period of time.

Some guests did not have their rooms cleaned in more than two days and noticed their rooms were not cleaned, only the bed sheets were made but not changed. When this was mentioned to the staff, nothing was done about it. Some were disappointed the most basic service of a hotel was not done.

Some guests felt the staff members seemed to be lacking in customer service training. For example, some of the guest's bills had big mistakes on them which took a while to resolve. Some of the guests felt the staff did not know how to be friendly and did nothing to alleviate concerns.

Some guests expected more amenities for the price paid. There is no poolside bar, towels, rooms are small and breakfast selection is poor. The customer service is not up to par and the parking is expensive.
