The sheer number of activities available to you within the resort is staggering, ranging from spa treatments to fitness sessions and everything in between. A number of services exclusively designed for your children, if you have any, are also available. The surrounding hills also hold a number of courses for golf enthusiasts.

Walking to Kenmare's centre is incredibly easy, since the resort has a path specifically designed to lead you to the downtown area and allow you to visit Kenmare's beautiful shops, restaurants, and gallery attractions.

All of the breakfasts at Kenmare Bay are prepared using fresh ingredients and made to order. You can find a fantastic variety of dishes on their menus, even if you simply wish to have cold cereals or a specialty drink rather than a full Irish breakfast.

The staff at Kenmare Bay isn't always as attentive or kind as they should be, and you may find yourself running into attitude problems in matters of billing disputes or bar interactions. Most of the staff is friendly and pleasant enough to outweigh this, however.

In addition to looking generally outdated, some of the age in Kenmare Bay's design shines through in small problems of form and function within rooms. The shower pressure and heating systems are the most common areas with flaws, although the paint and carpeting in some rooms is also less than adequate.

Because Kenmare Bay is so welcoming to guests of all ages, you might find yourself being surrounded by more children than usual. There are designated areas for children to play, but these tend to also be located near adult areas.
