Sandcastle Apartments (Port Macquarie, Australia)

Guests said that the best part of their stay here was that the beach was directly opposite the hotel.  Guests loved hanging out on their balconies enjoying the views across the water, which for most was the highlight of their vacation.

Guests who got a great nights' sleep at the hotel raved about the super comfortable beds and pillows in the rooms. Guests also said that the apartments were furnished to a high standard with lovely, well-maintained contemporary decor.

Guests, especially those travelling in family groups or with their children, commented that the apartment's were very spacious and that there was a lot of room to leave their luggage and belongings around. Families said there was plenty of space for all to comfortably fit into the lounge room.

Guests had a common complaint that there were not a lot of towels to go around in the apartment. Furthermore guests said that with no daily housekeeping the towels were not replenished and it was difficult to get more towels.

Wi-Fi is only available in common areas of the hotel and guests said that they were disappointed that there was no free Wi-Fi in their apartments. For families who need to stay connected, this was particularly frustrating.

One common complaint amongst previous guests was that there was a lot of traffic noise from the road in front of the hotel, between it and the beach. Guests suggested to future visitors to request a high floor to avoid the traffic noise.
