Previous guests have found the location of this Townsville hotel appealing, often commenting that the property offered a good central base from which to explore the city and take trips to Magnetic Island.

Although this hotel doesn't have its own restaurant, it does partner with several of the restaurants along Palmer Street. Guests have consistently enjoyed the meals and services in the recommended dining spots and have appreciated being able to charge the cost to their hotel room.

Despite a few minor disappointments, the rooms here are typically found to be of a good standard. Guests have mostly described the rooms and apartments as clean and comfortable and have particularly enjoyed having their own private balcony.

Although the rooms here are generally found to be of an acceptable standard, the bathrooms are often found to be in need of improvement. There are no serious concerns but rather minor maintenance issues, an awkward layout, and some instances of already opened toiletries.

Free Wi-Fi doesn't come as standard here and is typically only offered as part of an upgrade. Perhaps unsurprisingly, given the cost of the rooms here, guests haven't been too happy to have to pay extra for Internet access.

Guests have reported that the walls between rooms are fairly thin so hearing the activities of neighbouring guests appears to be likely. Also, a fair number of guests have complained that the air-conditioning units are unbearably loud.
