Indoor water park proves to be top draw.
The number one draw at Great Wolf Lodge is the resort's indoor water park. The majority of guests (of all ages) enjoy their time at the park, which features slides, thrill rides, a lazy river and wave pool. In particular, guests like that they can access the water park before their suite is ready.
positive:
Themed beds prove popular with young visitors.
A number of suites feature sleeping arrangements aimed specifically at children. KidKamp and Wolf Den suites feature bunk beds enclosed in a tent, giving little ones their own privacy. Understandably, this proves very popular with younger guests.
positive:
Family-sized accommodations.
All suites at the resort are capable of sleeping a minimum of four guests with most catering to six and some even offering sleeping arrangements for eight. This family-friendly set-up proves popular with many.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Lots of additional charges.
Past guests report that a stay at Great Wolf Lodge brings with it a bevy of additional charges. Meals, including breakfast, are said to be on the expensive side, while additional charges are applied to lockers, activities and a number of other features.
negative:
Rooms are worn around the edges.
Reports suggest that the resort's accommodations are showing some signs of wear and tear. Guests cite loose and broken fittings, moldy bathrooms and peeling wallpaper amongst their concerns, while some suggest that, although appearing clean on the surface, areas of the resort could benefit from a deep clean.
negative:
Not enough staff on duty.
Understaffing appears to be an issue at the resort. Guests report that it's not uncommon to find only one member of staff manning the front desk, restaurant, ice cream parlor and shops, meaning you may be in for a long wait.
