Bring your furry friend.
Guests felt the hotel was extremely dog-friendly, even accommodating four-legged guests outside the patio area. For a modest fee, your loyal companion can join you on your travels, welcomed by pet-friendly staff.

Negative Reviews
negative:
Bring your walking shoes.
The Doubletree Sonoma Wine Country is an expansive resort with many amenities. As such, guests should be prepared for a spread-out facility that may require a long walk to and from rooms and hotel sites. Guests were sometimes unprepared for how far they needed to walk to get around.
negative:
Don't forget a car.
While the hotel offers a lot to do, it isn't within walking distance to Sonoma and area attractions. If you want to do any exploring, you will need a car to get around. Ample parking, however, will make this a little easier to swallow.
negative:
Decor not up to some standards.
While the hotel reports stylish decor, many guests found the hotel needed a thorough update. Worn carpet and older bedding wasn't inviting to some. Clean conditions and amenities in good repair helped to alleviate concerns over rooms needing a refresh.
