Fabulous customer service.
Polite and efficient were a few of the words guests used to describe the outstanding staff. Everyone from the front desk workers to the housekeeping crew were on the ball, and guests enjoyed the smiles and friendly demeanour of the hospitality team.

Many guests mentioned the well cared for grounds and gardens, which added a lot to their overall stay. Other areas of note included the swimming pool, gym and spa, which were all nice and tidy. The spa was particularly inviting, with guests highly recommending a visit.

Guests said that while expensive, the formal restaurant was worth every penny. Food wasn't your typical restaurant fare, and in many cases, guests would have licked their plates clean if they could have.

Decor couldn't exactly be described as modern, and while clean and in good repair, guests said that a refurbishment might be in order. Bathrooms were also considered dated, and guests would have liked to see a few upgrades to make this hotel really shine.

Thin walls were a let-down for a number of guests who would have rather not heard neighbouring conversations and TV noise. Rooms with adjoining doors seemed to have the highest incidences of sounds from next door, and guests said that you might want to ask about a quiet room.

Free Wi-Fi was a nice touch, but guests routinely found that it was fussy at best. Depending on which room you stay in, using the Internet might not even be an option, and unless improvements are made, guests said that you shouldn't count on surfing the Web.
