Guests say that it is good to have the bistro and bar on-site, enjoying tasty meals in the bistro or having a nice cold beer while watching one of the TV screens. You can challenge a friend to a game of pool while children will be kept occupied with an indoor play area.

Guests like that the hotel are not stingy with the provisions for tea and coffee. It is a bonus that some items for a light breakfast were also included, with cereal, biscuits and bread also provided. This is convenient for guests on a morning before heading out for the day.

Bed comfort is obviously a big factor in any hotel stay. The good news is that a number of guests have said that the enjoy a good night's sleep here, thanks largely down to the comfort of the beds.

You may think that the rooms are looking tired and are overdue for being refurbished. Issues noted by guests included walls being in need of repairs and repainting, carpets needing replacing, and furnishings and facilities in the rooms being old and worn.

Rooms are not as spotlessly clean as guests would like so the hotel does need to pay more attention to this. They are sometimes found to be dusty, have dirty carpets and have not been properly cleaned from the previous guests. Cleaning by housekeeping is also lacking.

With a popular bistro and bar on-site, enjoyed both by resident guests and locals popping by for a bit to eat or a drink, the hotel can be noisy. Some guests were able to hear noise from customers until late in the evening.
